Reading

I love reading my books. The fact that I can escape into another world for a little bit and fall in love with its characters is so much fun.

Family

I love my little family. We are currently 4 but we are expecting baby#3 in Nov.

 

Crafts

Knitting, crochet, and cross stitch are the three crafts I do mostly. We also do crafts with the kids.

Being a Fan Girl

I love everything nerdy. I have been this way my whole life and I love it!

Sleep

I love to sleep……thats all I have to say about that lol

Bookish September

Hey guys and thank you for checking out my little book blog. I can not believe how fast this year is flying by. I am looking forward to the fall though. It’s probably my favorite season. All the colors changing and just the smell is awesome. I like it when the temperature drops to the lower 70s high 60s. …heaven.

Anywho, I wanted to share with you guys the Read A Thon that I am participating in. Now there isn’t really any strict rules or guidelines to this read a thon. It was made for those that are going back to school…or me who has a busy schedule. Just an easy month. There are several people hosting this Read a thon. I will put their info at the end of this post.

It is on BookTube but also Instagram. There is a daily picture challenge on IG. I have done these in the past but never finished them. I will this month!!

#1 Re-read a favorite book

I am choosing The 5th Wave by Rick Yancey. This was a hard choice but I know the movie is being made and I want to freshen up. Not to mention I loved this book!

Now I’ve already started this book in August so I am going to finish it this month!! So far it’s the first book that ever made me cry.

Day 1 of BookTubeAThon Update!

Hey everyone I wanted to update you on how my first day went. I know that I missed this yesterday but whatever!

I am sick right now so I haven’t really had the total focus that I want but I did the best I could yesterday.

135 pages in Gerald’s Game by Stephen King

82 pages in Aria by MD Luis

Totaling out to : 217 pages total

Not the best but its a start I guess.

I am feeling better today so I am hoping to plow through some books!

Last Day of School!

I can not believe how fast this school year has gone by. My babies are growing up to fast. I don’t like it make it stop. They will be going in to 1st and 2nd grade in August but until then we are going to try and make this summer the best one yet, attitudes are a deal breaker though.

Here are some things we are going to be doing:

Sea World and Aquatica trips

Free or $1 movies twice a week

Library trips

Reading, Writing, and Arithmetic

All of the fun stuff also depends on the girls behavior and I know there will be days where they are going to drive me insane.

In between all of the fun and shenanigans, I will be trying to bust through my bookshelves and read as much as I can. Basically giving myself a “Summer Read-a-thon.” I need to get on the ball with these amazing books because I have some authors starting to send me their books to review and I need to get to them as soon as I can……PRONTO!!
