We all have weird fears, from getting sliced to ribbons in subway station revolving gate to getting turned around by the wind while swimming and going too far out to sea. Based on the wildly popular eponymous Tumblr, Deep Dark Fears explores our odd, creepy, and hilariously singular fears. Animator, illustrator, and cartoonist Fran Krause brings these fears to life in vividly illustrated comics based on real fears submitted by readers (plus a few of his own). My Thoughts

This was a very enjoyable read. It basically is a graphic novel/comic book all about the fears that we have when we are kids. Most of them I have had myself but never thought that others would have the same fears.

I still scare myself silly if I think to much about something under my bed.

Now that I am a mother I am reading it and find the humor in it. There are times where scaring your kid maybe just fun. Of course we try not to go to far, unlike this grandma….

Over all I found this some what of a comfort to know that I wasn’t the only one in the world growing up with irrational fears. I mean I’ve literally thought about 95% of these things happening to me at one point or another.

Its a fun fast read and if you are weird like me you will like it too!!
