Elementals- The Head of Medusa ~Book Review

*E-book received for an honest review*

When Nicole Cassidy moved to a new town, she discovered that she was a witch descended from gods. But that was nothing compared to learning that it was up to her and four others with mysterious elemental powers to help save the world from the Titans, who would soon return to Earth.

Now her relationship with Blake — the fire Elemental — is finally heating up. But she must remain focused, because Typhon, one of the deadliest creatures in history, has escaped from the weakening prison world. Only one object can destroy him — the head of Medusa herself. (Amazon.com)

My Thoughts

This series has to be one of the most addicting and fastest reads of mine yet. I am flying through them and I can’t seem to get enough. I literally read each one with in a day of receiving it.

This third book, The Head of Medusa, is no different. The 5 heroes have to travel to Antarctica to retrieve the Golden Sword of Athena to kill Medusa. I loved the pop culture reference of Chione being what Disney based their version of Elsa on. That was funny. Then having defeated Chione and taking the sword to fight Medusa was very intense. They need Medusa’s head to turn Typhoon ( worst baddie of the Titans) into stone before his soul can meet up with his body. They are able to finish their quest but with gut wrenching results.

This book is so far the most intense and heartbreaking yet. I get so into these books and so far always shocked by the cliff hanger endings. Which makes me drooling for the next one!!
