The Greatest Zombie Movie Ever is so bad, it could wake the dead…
After producing three horror films that went mostly ignored on YouTube, Justin and his film making buddies decide it’s time to make something epic. In fact, they’re going to make The Greatest Zombie Movie Ever. They may not have money or a script, but they have passion. And, after a rash text message, they also have the beautiful Alicia Howtz as the lead.
Hemmed in by a one-month timeline and a cast of uncooperative extras, but aching to fulfill Alicia’s dreams, Justin must face the sad, sad truth: he may, in actuality, be producing The Worst Zombie Movie Ever. (GR)
This was just the book I needed to get out of this reading rut I have been in this month. I had no idea what this book was about except it had something to do with zombies. That is all I needed to read. I am a BIG fan of zombies and everything about them.
Anything with Zombies is a great time.
The story follows three best friends, Justin (director), Gabe (producer) and Bobby (Sound Guy ) who want to make The Greatest Zombie Movie Ever. Justin has a very vivid imagination and vision for his movie and even wants to be just as good as George A. Romero one day (big dreams if you ask me).
Throughout this book though they encounter obstacles that throw all kinds of monkey wrenches into the production of the film. They go from needing to borrow money from Justin’s grandma, who has her own muscle, to a somewhat unstable female lead actress named Alicia.
I can’t say to much about this without spoiling all of the fun but if you like zombies at all and want to read about how The Greatest Zombie Ever Made came about then read this book. Its a very fast read and I laughed the entire way through it!
