Never Never Pt 1 Review

Never Never (Never Never, #1)

Best friends since they could walk. In love since the age of fourteen.
Complete strangers since this morning.
He’ll do anything to remember. She’ll do anything to forget.

This is the first book I have read by Colleen Hoover and Tarryn Fisher. I’ve only heard great things about Colleen’s writting style and her stories. So I was very excited to receive this novel in a e-book swap with my IG friend, Naudia @tonsoftitles.

The story follows two main protagonists, Charlie and Silas. It is in a dual view format so in someways it takes me a min to register who is talking but not that long. I mean the chapters are titled with the names, DUH ! Anyways, one day Charlie can’t remember who she is and what she is doing. As if she was trapped in someone else’s body but with no memory of who she is. She tries to get answers from the people around her who seem to know who she is. That is when we meet Silas. He seems to be her boyfriend but shes not sure about that either. Until Silas tells her that he doesn’t know who he is or what happened. Neither of them can remember who they are or what happened to them.

They go on this quest to figure out what happened and why their families seem to hate each other. They find clues along the way about their own relationship and how much in love “Charlie and Silas” really were. Silas grows to realize all the things that makes him think of all the reasons he loves Charlie but she doesn’t seem to be so sure of her own feelings.

I loved the story and the characters. In particular though I loved Silas’s voice more than Charlie’s. They are hilarious together but I can feel how much he loves her. Its the great beginning to this 2 part book and I can’t wait to read the second half!!
