Review

At first this book was slightly confusing. It felt almost like a first draft of the story, like there is something lacking in the story line. As I read on to about chapter 3 things started to fall into place and then it was to late….I was hooked. I read 18 chapters in one sitting and then forced myself to put it down so I can get some sleep. Its that good!!!

The story is about Lali and she has never felt part of this world. She has a secret past that everyone has kept from her. Throughout the book Lali has these episodes or “attacks”. Adi Mandal has this way of transporting you into these attacks and several times I caught myself holding my breath. The most important people in her life is her mother and Krei ( the boy who loves her unconditionally), the boy she is betrothed to. As the attacks get worse she meets Theon, who claims to have all the answers and tries to convince her to leave her life behind and find the answers she has been looking for all her life. Can she trust Theon enough to go with him or will she not leave her mother or Krei???

I can not wait for the next book in this series. I loved this one so much!!!!
